COMMISSIONS PROCESS

Hello! Thank you for your interest in commissioning a portrait. I work from photographs, and I have a pretty strong idea of what kind of photograph I want in order to make a successful painting. For patrons who live in Columbia, Missouri (or nearby), I prefer to take the photos myself. This is a quick and easy process that just takes a few minutes, and no one ever needs to see the photos other than me. It's painless! For long-distance patrons, please see the video for the type of photographs I need from you. Even if you're local, it's a good idea to watch the video to get a better feel for the process.

PRICES for custom paintings

11 x 14 (one person, bust)  $475

11 x 14 or 8 x 10 pet portrait $325

11 x 14 and 11 x 14 diptych (two people, busts) $900

16 x 20 (one person) $750

16 x 20 (two people) $950

24 x 30 or 24 x 36 (one person) $900

24 x 30 or 24 x 36 (2-3 people) $1200

Larger sizes for 2-3 people or size flexible  for 4-6 people $1400-$1800
